Plaża w Pogorzelicy

The 4-kilometer stretch of sandy beach extends along the Baltic Sea coast, featuring natural dunes and pine forests on its southern edge.

The beach area emerged as a tourist destination in the 1930s when the first vacation facilities were constructed along the Polish Baltic coastline.

Local residents maintain traditional fishing practices along the shore, with seasonal fish markets offering fresh Baltic catches to visitors.

Eight designated beach access points connect to the town center, with lifeguard stations operating from June through September between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

The beach sand contains high concentrations of mineral particles that produce a subtle squeaking sound when walked upon during dry weather conditions.
