Miechowicka Ostoja Leśna

Miechowicka Ostoja Leśna is a forest complex spanning about 305 hectares with sinkholes, ravines, valleys, and ridges all covered by dense woodland. The site was once mining grounds before being designated a nature reserve in 2012 and transformed into a forest preservation zone. This shift marked a major change in how the area functions, moving from industrial activity to ecological protection.
