Holy Family Church, Ramallah

The Holy Family Church stands at the center of Ramallah with its traditional ecclesiastical architecture and stone facade incorporating regional building elements.

The church emerged between 1860 and 1870 when the Sisters of St. Joseph and Rosary Sisters established educational institutions for the growing Catholic community.

Visitors can attend daily mass services and participate in community events throughout the year, with the church remaining open during standard worship hours.

The structure required forty years of negotiations with Ottoman authorities before construction began in 1913, marking a period of religious expansion in Ramallah.
