Municipal Museum in Subotica

The Municipal Museum spans multiple floors containing exhibitions of archaeological findings, historical documents, artworks, and regional artifacts from northern Serbia.

Founded in 1892 and reorganized in 1948, the museum has continuously collected and preserved objects representing the development of Subotica through centuries.

The institution maintains exhibitions of local artistic works, traditional costumes, and everyday items that demonstrate the multicultural character of the region.

The museum provides guided tours in several languages, with reduced entry fees for students and special arrangements for group visits throughout the week.

Within its permanent collection, the museum holds an extensive array of Art Nouveau architectural elements from demolished buildings of Subotica.
