Society for Culture, Art and International Cooperation Adligat

The Society for Culture, Art and International Cooperation Adligat is a museum and library in Belgrade that brings together three distinct collections under one roof. It houses the Museum of Serbian Literature, the Museum of Books and Travel, and the Legacy House, which contains three complete private libraries.

The institution evolved from the Lazic Library, founded in 1882 and the longest continuously operated family library in Serbia. It opened its doors to the public in 2012, making its treasures accessible to all interested visitors.

The collections reflect diverse traditions, including Ethiopian medieval manuscripts and decorated Qurans, offering visitors insight into religious and literary practices from different cultures.
