Located at an elevation of 200 meters, Dyatkovo extends across the northern region of Bryansk Oblast with a population of 25,255 residents.
The settlement emerged around glass production in 1785 when Marya Maltsova developed manufacturing facilities that employed thousands of workers in the surrounding area.
The Lead Crystal Museum in Dyatkovo contains the largest collection of artistic glass objects throughout Russia, displaying regional craftsmanship and industrial heritage.
