Yeniseysky District

Yeniseysky District is a municipal district in western Krasnoyarsk Krai covering a large area with numerous rural communities. The town of Yeniseysk serves as the administrative center and provides key services to residents throughout the territory.

The district took shape as an administrative entity in 1924 during Soviet territorial reorganization in Siberia. It has remained an important administrative division in the region ever since.

The district maintains twenty-five rural settlements and one urban area, representing traditional Siberian administrative structures with local councils called selsoviets managing community affairs.
