The museum opened in August 2002 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Russian Air Force, located in former factory buildings of a historic royal stable.
Engineers, students, and technical specialists gather at the museum for scientific conferences to exchange knowledge about aviation engine development and maintenance.
The museum welcomes visitors from Friday to Sunday between 11:00 and 16:00, offering guided tours in Russian and English through the collection.
The exhibited engines come from seven different design bureaus, featuring turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft models that were previously in active aviation service.
