Gatchina Museum-Preserve, Estate museum in Gatchina, Russia.
The palace complex extends across multiple floors and features classical architecture with medieval castle elements next to Lake Serebryany.
Catherine the Great presented the estate to Count Orlov in 1766, leading to construction of the palace using local limestone and pudost stone.
The museum maintains exhibitions of Russian imperial artifacts, including collections of metalwork, paintings, textiles, and precious objects from royal periods.
Visitors can access guided tours, educational programs, and virtual experiences showcasing the White Hall, Grecian Gallery, and other historical chambers.
The Memory Hall documents the extensive damage sustained during World War II when Wehrmacht forces occupied and partially burned the palace.
