Серноводская пещера, Natural cave in Sergievsky District, Russia.
The Sernovodsk Cave extends 573 meters into the western slope of Sernovodsk Highland, featuring two large halls connected by narrow passages.
Mining engineer M.S. Sergeev first documented the cave in 1907, managing to explore only 50 meters of its total length at that time.
The cave walls contain multiple inscriptions dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries, marking visits from previous generations of explorers.
Access requires permission from the Ekran plant subsidiary farm directorate, with the entrance located one kilometer from Sernovodsk town.
The cave system includes two distinct entrances separated by two kilometers, with natural light penetrating through sinkholes at specific points.
