Shveitsariya Park

Shveitsariya Park is a large green area along the Oka River in Nizhny Novgorod with walking paths, sports facilities, and viewing spots overlooking the water. The site also includes a rope park, an ecological trail, and multiple recreation zones spread throughout the space.

The park began in 1903 when students and teachers planted pine trees on land that had previously been used for farming. This initial planting marked the start of what would become the expansive green space you see today.
