Arena Yerofey

Arena Yerofey is an indoor sports complex in Khabarovsk with seating for approximately 10,000 spectators, primarily used for bandy matches and winter sports events. The facility covers about 46,000 square meters and serves as the main home for competitive teams in the region.

The arena opened in 2013 and represented a major upgrade to sports infrastructure in Russia's Far East. Its completion gave Khabarovsk a modern venue capable of hosting large-scale international competitions.

The arena takes its name from Yerofey Khabarov, a Russian explorer who founded the first Russian settlements along the Amur River in the 1600s. This connection links the sports venue to the region's pioneering past and demonstrates how deeply history shapes local identity.

The venue is easy to reach and offers adequate parking for visitors attending games or other events. Events happen regularly throughout the season, so checking the schedule in advance helps plan your visit.

The venue hosted the 2015 Bandy World Championship and later served as a site for the 2018 Bandy World Championship matches. These international events positioned Khabarovsk as a recognized center for winter sports hosting.
