Jacob Reck building

The Jacob Reck building on Prechistenka Street is a stone residential structure decorated with ornamental details typical of early 1900s Moscow. The facade displays elaborate embellishments that fit with the refined residential architecture of that Moscow era.

Gustav Helrich designed this building in 1911 for a Russian banker who invested his wealth in Moscow real estate. Its construction occurred when the financial sector was driving the city's urban development.
