Kryukov House

Kryukov House is a two-story building from the early 1900s located in central Novosibirsk with detailed architectural features. It combines commercial and residential purposes in a structure that reflects the commercial architecture of that era.

The building was constructed in 1908 for merchant Z.G. Kryukov and housed a public assembly hall on its upper floor until 1912. After that time, it transformed into a space for various cultural and political purposes.

The building served as home to the Diana Cinema from 1913 to 1918 and later hosted significant political gatherings. Its rooms reflect how this place functioned as a meeting point for civic movements and public discourse.

The building sits at the corner of Sovetskaya and Gorky streets in the center and is easy to locate and reach. Today it operates as a wine shop and restaurant, offering visitors both access and local dining options.

The building stands near other important historical sites in the city and together they form a walking path through Novosibirsk's past. Visitors can explore multiple layers of city history in a single stroll.
