Novosibirsk State Academy of Water Transport

The institution extends across multiple buildings, offering specialized education in water transport engineering, maritime navigation, and vessel operations through six distinct faculties.

Founded in 1951 as the Novosibirsk Institute of Water Transport Engineers, the institution underwent several name changes before becoming the Siberian State University of Water Transport in 2015.

The academy maintains international student exchange programs with maritime institutions worldwide, fostering knowledge transfer and cross-cultural learning experiences in water transport education.

Students gain direct experience through training facilities equipped with navigation simulators, engineering laboratories, and access to vessels on the Ob River.
