Парк Мира, Protected natural area in Vologda, Russia
Park Mira spans 155 hectares along the Vologda River, featuring dense vegetation, walking paths, and recreational zones for local residents.
The park's establishment in March 1939 involved 2,000 citizens participating in a community planting event, receiving its current name in 1945.
The park includes 272 spruce trees, 410 spiraea bushes, 426 honeysuckle shrubs, and 5,782 acacia plants planted during the 1955 landscaping initiative.
Visitors can access the park via bus route 11, which stops at the dedicated Park Mira station from 9:00 to 21:00 during summer months.
The park contains the only officially permitted swimming beach within Vologda city limits, with lifeguards monitoring the area throughout the swimming season.
