Доходный дом Бурениных, Residential building from 1915 in Krasnoselsky District, Russia.
The Burenin Revenue House is a residential building from 1915 on Nizhnyaya Krasnoselskaya Street, distinguished by symmetrical bay windows resting on stepped consoles. Its facade is adorned with a heraldic composition featuring lions positioned above the entrance.
The building was commissioned by brothers M.P. and P.B. Burenin during Moscow's residential expansion period in the early 1900s. Architect Vyacheslav Oltarzhevsky designed the structure with its distinctive features.
The facade displays English Tudor Gothic elements that differ notably from typical Moscow architectural styles of that era. Such decorative choices were uncommon in residential buildings of the early 20th century.
The building stands on Nizhnyaya Krasnoselskaya Street in Krasnoselsky District and holds protected status as a regional cultural heritage site. It is best visited on foot while exploring the surrounding neighborhood.
Two stone lions guard a knight's helmet carved into the heraldic composition on the facade. This motif symbolizes the noble lineage of the original Burenin family who commissioned the house.
