Пагода рая, Buddhist pagoda in Otradnoe district, Moscow, Russia
The Heaven Pagoda features a large prayer wheel containing scrolls with 10 million mantras inscribed on them for spiritual practices.
The construction of the pagoda began after receiving blessings from the Dalai Lama and opened on February 19, 2015, during Tsagan Sar celebrations.
Visitors rotate the prayer wheel clockwise while reciting the six-syllable mantra 'Om mani padme hum' as part of Buddhist religious practices.
The religious structure stands at Novovladykinsky Proezd 15 in the Otradnoe district of Moscow, near the temporary stupa of Tupden Shedubling complex.
Diplomats from Mongolia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka attended the opening ceremony alongside representatives from Russian Buddhist regions.
