Пагода рая, Buddhist pagoda in Otradnoe district, Moscow, Russia
This pagoda is a multi-story white structure featuring traditional Buddhist architecture located in a residential area of Moscow. The complex houses several spiritual spaces and a large prayer wheel filled with scrolls bearing sacred texts.
The structure was planned following blessings from a senior Tibetan spiritual leader and opened in 2015 during a major Buddhist festival. Its construction represented a significant milestone for the Buddhist community in Russia.
The name refers to Buddhist concepts of paradise and enlightenment. Pilgrims come here to engage with living Buddhist traditions and spiritual practices.
