White Mosque

The White Mosque features three domes, two 46-meter minarets, and walls crafted from 1,200 tons of white marble in a central courtyard layout.

The mosque opened in 2012 to mark 1,150 years of Islam in Tatarstan, built near the ancient capital of Volga Bulgaria established in the 9th century.

The prayer hall spans 180 square meters with sixteen stained glass windows, decorated with arabesques, tulip patterns, and geometric designs following Islamic artistic traditions.

The mosque complex includes a residence for clergy, a religious school, and a 1,500-square-meter outdoor prayer area connected to a park.

The mosque houses the world's largest Quran, weighing 800 kilograms, presented as a gift during its inauguration ceremony.
