Stone Gate, Bashkortostan

Stone Gate is a natural limestone arch in the Middle Ural that cuts through the rock layers and creates a passage you can walk through. The formation shows clear bands of different mineral deposits, making visible the layers of stone accumulated over millions of years.

You can reach this site using marked trails from nearby settlements, and the best time to explore is during warmer months when conditions are drier. Wear sturdy footwear as the ground can be muddy and slippery, especially after rain or snowmelt.
