The stone building features arched galleries with Tuscan-style twin column bundles and pavilions adorned with attic mezzanines along its facade.
Following a devastating fire in 1862 that destroyed wooden structures, architect N.S. Nikitin designed this stone edifice, which opened for trade in 1866.
The trading complex maintains its original commercial function next to Tsarskoye Selo market, offering various goods to residents and visitors.
Located at 25 Moskovskaya Street, the building includes shopping galleries, a central arch-portal, and connects directly to Cathedral Square.
The complex incorporates a semi-circular meat pavilion built in late classicism style, with cross-shaped pillars and triangular pediments for fish shops.
