Gorki-Ametievo forest park

Gorki-Ametievo forest park is an urban green space in Kazan that connects two separate forest areas through a central recreational zone. The space features walking and cycling paths distributed throughout, with various facilities embedded within the natural woodland.

The forest area was designated as a protected nature zone in 2014 before being developed into a public park for residents. The space officially opened to the public in 2016 following this designation.

The park serves as a gathering place where local residents walk, jog, and spend time with family away from busy city streets. People come here to experience nature while remaining close to the urban center.

The park has clearly marked pathways for different activities, making it easy to choose routes based on your interests and fitness level. Facilities like seating and waste bins are distributed throughout, so amenities are never far away.

The central zone features striking art installations and a distinctive fountain that add visual interest to the forest paths. There is also a pump track designed for bicycles and skateboards, which contrasts with the quieter woodland experience elsewhere.
