Museum complex "Road of memory"

This memorial center covers 1,418 steps and presents wartime events across 27 halls using projection screens, scale models and witness accounts. The exhibition walks visitors through each day of the conflict from 1941 to 1945, combining original documents with digital records.

The center opened in 2020 as part of the Main Cathedral of the Armed Forces complex and preserves wartime memories through chronological exhibitions. The architecture symbolizes the four years of war, with 1,418 representing each day of the conflict.

The facility maintains a digital archive containing photographs and personal information of 33 million participants from World War II, allowing families to research their ancestors.

From Belorussky or Savelovsky station in Moscow, trains run to Golitsyno, then bus 48p goes to Sector C stop. The site lies about an hour west of Moscow by car and offers wheelchair access.

The grounds hold 174 chambers containing soil from military burial sites across 44 countries. The digital collection includes photographs and personal details of 33 million war participants, accessible for family research.
