Museum-estate of Andrey Bolotov

The Museum-estate of Andrey Bolotov is an 18th-century nobleman property with preserved residential buildings, orchards, and gardens spread across the grounds. The location demonstrates how a rural estate of that period was structured and operated.

Andrey Bolotov took over the estate in 1762 and introduced new agricultural methods that he documented in detailed scientific writings. His work made the property a center for experimental farming in Russia.
