Andrey Bolotov managed this estate from 1762 to 1833, implementing agricultural innovations and documenting his findings in extensive scientific writings.
The museum exhibits display traditional farming methods, botanical specimens, and manuscripts that reflect Russian agricultural practices of the 1700s.
The museum organizes guided tours through the main house, gardens, and experimental fields where visitors learn about historical cultivation techniques.
The estate maintains over 600 varieties of apple and pear trees, continuing Bolotov's experimental pomology work from the 18th century.
