Музей истории Уралмашзавода

The Uralmash History Museum is located at the main factory entrance and displays photographs, technical drawings, and machinery models in two exhibition halls. The space documents the development of one of the country's largest machine-building plants with a focus on production and factory history.

The collection was established in 1967 and was initially housed in a cultural palace before moving to the factory entrance building in 2013. This relocation allowed the material to be presented directly at the site of industrial activity.

The museum displays photographs and documents that capture the work and lives of factory workers across decades. These collections show how the plant shaped the city and its people.

Entry is free of charge and the museum is open weekdays, so planning your visit in advance is helpful. The entrance is located on Mashinostroiteley Street and is accessible by public transport from the city center.

The exhibition contains authentic tank armor specimens and excavator models, showing the range of factory production. One display area is dedicated to a historical intelligence officer.
