Villa Alnäs, Residential villa in Djurgården, Sweden
Located at Djurgårdsvägen 220-222, Villa Alnäs presents yellow wooden constructions alongside newer architectural elements from 1905 modifications.
The Swedish East India Company director Carl Gottfried Küsel constructed the initial manor house in 1787 as part of his family estate.
From 1952 to early 2000s, Villa Alnäs functioned as the Swedish center for the Foundation for Moral Re-Armament movement.
The residential building occupies a position between Listonhill and Nedre Manilla areas, marking a notable spot on Stockholm's Djurgården island.
Architect Torben Grut executed extensive modifications in 1905, transforming the original 18th-century structure into its current architectural form.
