The glass and concrete structure extends over 25,000 square meters, featuring a full-height atrium that connects all floors with natural light throughout the building.
Designed by Christensen & Co Architects, the building opened in April 2014 as part of Lund's initiative to modernize municipal administrative services.
The building connects the historical district with a new public park, creating a central gathering space for community events and civic engagement.
The municipal offices provide administrative services on multiple floors, with dedicated areas for citizen services located on the ground level.
The structure implements advanced energy strategies including solar power and earth water cooling, reducing energy consumption to minimal levels for buildings of this scale.
