Lilla Frösunda

Lilla Frösunda is a manor estate in Solna Municipality situated along Gustav III's Boulevard, featuring white painted walls and Swedish architectural details from the 1700s. The site includes multiple buildings that now serve as offices and residential spaces.

The area was settled during medieval times with five farms and represented the largest settlement in Solna parish, showing its agricultural importance. In the 1800s, it gained attention as a center for gardening and horticultural work.

The estate displays traditional Swedish architecture with whitewashed walls that define the local landscape. Walking around, you notice how the older building fits into the modern surroundings.

The site is easily accessible from central Stockholm and sits near a main boulevard, making it simple to explore. The grounds are open to view, though the buildings themselves are primarily occupied by private users.

A gardener named Anders Lundström established a commercial garden on the property in the mid-1800s. His family maintained ownership until 1905, when the estate took on a different purpose.
