Sky Habitat, Residential complex in Bishan, Singapore
Sky Habitat is a residential complex in Bishan composed of two towers linked by three aerial bridges suspended between them. The development spreads across multiple levels with integrated gardens, terraces, and planted areas woven throughout the structure.
The site was acquired by CapitaLand in 2011 and architect Moshe Safdie was commissioned to design this residential development. The project emerged as a response to demand for integrated housing solutions in an urban setting.
The building design emphasizes community engagement through interconnected streets, gardens, and terraces that extend across multiple levels.
The complex features swimming pools, tennis courts, walking paths, and outdoor recreation areas spread throughout its grounds. These facilities and green spaces are accessible from different levels and easy to navigate.
Each unit includes private terraces and balconies that enable natural air flow and views from multiple directions. This tiered arrangement creates an unusual living experience where every home feels distinct with its own outdoor space.
