Ngao

Ngao is an administrative district in Lampang Province, located in northern Thailand with mountainous terrain and forest cover. The area includes multiple subdistricts with villages spread across valleys and hillsides.

The district was established through administrative reorganization in the 1930s when local governance structures were redesigned. This restructuring reflected broader changes in how northern Thailand organized its regional administration.
