Thap Lan National Park

The second largest national park in Thailand extends across 2,236 square kilometers of mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and forest landscapes reaching heights of 992 meters.

Established on December 23, 1981, as Thailand's 40th national park, Thap Lan became part of the Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex under UNESCO protection.

The park features extensive fan palm forests that hold traditional significance for local communities who have maintained sustainable practices across generations.

Visitors can access the park through Bu Phram Subdistrict in Na Di District, with facilities available for camping, hiking, and wildlife observation throughout the year.

The park maintains a higher tiger population than China and houses 149 documented bird species within its low-land evergreen forest ecosystem.
