Wat Sala Loi, Buddhist temple in Nai Mueang, Thailand
The temple features a large white standing Buddha statue and contemporary Thai architecture with slanting roofs and ceramic tiles depicting Buddha's life.
Established in 1827 by Ya Mo and her husband, the temple received recognition from the Siam Architects Society in 1973 for its religious architecture.
The temple grounds include dedicated spaces for Buddhist ceremonies, meditation sessions, and religious education programs throughout the year.
Located three kilometers northeast of Ya Mo, the temple offers free admission and welcomes visitors who follow traditional dress codes covering shoulders and knees.
A small pond with elevated footpaths and pavilions surrounds the temple, creating an appearance that inspired its name, meaning Floating Pavilion Temple.
