Wat Sala Loi

Wat Sala Loi is a temple in Nai Mueang featuring a large white standing Buddha statue and modern Thai architecture with slanting roofs and ceramic tiles depicting scenes from Buddha's life. A small pond with elevated footpaths and pavilions surrounds the complex, creating a distinctive landscape.

The temple was established in 1827 by Ya Mo and her husband. It received recognition from the Siam Architects Society in 1973 for its religious architectural design.

The temple is located roughly 3 kilometers northeast of Ya Mo and offers free admission to all visitors. Dress respectfully by covering shoulders and knees to follow local customs.

The temple's name means Floating Pavilion Temple, inspired by the distinctive arrangement of pavilions built over the pond. This uncommon feature creates a memorable visual experience for visitors.
