The Royal Turf Club occupies a large area in Suan Chitlada, featuring a comprehensive racecourse, grandstands, and dedicated spaces for spectators and participants.
Founded in 1916 by Thai aristocrats as an alternative to the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, the venue received official recognition through royal endorsement on December 18.
The establishment maintains traditional horse racing practices while serving as a central gathering place for Thailand's equestrian community and racing enthusiasts.
Visitors can access different seating arrangements with entrance fees of 200 Baht for the air-conditioned grandstand and 100 Baht for general admission areas.
Throughout its operation, the venue hosted three major annual competitions: the Derby Cup in January, President Cup in June, and Ramraghob Cup in November.
