Luce Memorial Chapel

Luce Memorial Chapel is a modern place of worship at Tunghai University featuring reinforced concrete walls topped with a Chinese glazed tile roof. The structure measures approximately 20 meters in length and 30 meters in width, with capacity for around 400 people during gatherings.

The chapel was completed in 1963 through a collaboration between renowned architects Ieoh Ming Pei and Chen Chi-kwan. Since its opening, it has become a recognized country-level monument on the university campus.

The chapel serves as a gathering place for Christian worship and remembrance among university members and visitors from the surrounding area. People come here to participate in services and find a space for reflection.
