Barnwell Manor, Grade II listed manor house in Barnwell, England

The stone-built manor spans 16,731 square feet with four reception rooms, seven bedrooms, and six bathrooms across its two-story structure.

The estate, granted to the Montagu family in 1540 by King Henry VIII, remained in their possession until 1913 when the 6th Duke of Buccleuch sold it.

The property includes a library with traditional chintz curtains and reception rooms decorated with ornate cornicing and detailed plasterwork.

The manor sits within 27 acres of parkland, featuring formal gardens, a greenhouse, coach house, and the ruins of a 13th-century castle.

Windsor House Antiques occupied the estate after the Duke of Gloucester relocated to Kensington Palace due to maintenance costs in 1995.
