St Andrew's, Association football stadium in Bordesley, Birmingham, England.
St Andrew's is an association football stadium in Bordesley, Birmingham, England, serving as home to Birmingham City Football Club. The ground consists of four stands that together hold around 30,000 spectators, with each section showing its own character.
The ground opened on 26 December 1906, replacing the earlier Muntz Street venue. Bombing raids during the Second World War damaged parts of the structure heavily, which were later rebuilt.
The club wears royal blue and white, while its crest features a rising globe that has marked the team for over a century. Supporters drape scarves and chant traditional songs on important match days, recalling past triumphs.
Several bus routes and rail connections stop near the ground, while walkways around the stands are mostly level and well signposted. Kiosks line the concourses and sell hot drinks plus snacks on match days.
The name changed in January 2024 to St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park after new backers took over the ground. This renaming reflects commercial agreements, while the original title remains in common speech.
