St Clement's Church

St Clement's Church is a Gothic church structure built near Harris's coastline, featuring thick stone walls and a tall tower rising prominently above the landscape. The building displays typical medieval Scottish construction techniques in its architectural framework.

Construction of the building began in 1520 under local MacLeod leadership, with the burial tomb of a clan chief positioned inside the structure. The project represents the period when regional Scottish leaders commissioned such monuments for both spiritual and dynastic purposes.
