Longleat Safari and Adventure Park

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park is a large open-range zoo with multiple animal zones and attractions spread across hundreds of acres near Warminster. Visitors explore the grounds through different methods including vehicle tours, waterside walks, and dedicated viewing areas for different species.

The park opened in 1966 as the first drive-through safari outside of Africa, introducing an innovative approach to wildlife viewing. The site sits within the grounds of a historic estate that dates back several centuries, connecting modern animal attractions to an older landscape.

The park maintains active breeding programs for endangered species and conducts research projects in partnership with international conservation organizations.

Koala Creek holds the only koalas living in England, a section created specifically to house these Australian animals. This area highlights efforts to maintain endangered species beyond their native habitats.
