All Saints' Church, Reading, Gothic church in Reading, England.
All Saints' Church is a Gothic church in Reading with coursed rubble walls and ashlar dressings. The building contains a five-bay aisled nave, short transepts, and an incomplete south tower foundation.
James Piers St Aubyn designed this church, which opened in 1874 during the Victorian period of widespread church building. The structure was completed as part of a major expansion in English parish communities.
The church interior features a painted arcade and a glass mosaic reredos showing the Last Supper, created by Italian artist Antonio Salviati in 1866. These artworks shape the visual character of the space today.
The church is open regularly for worship services and community events and has recently been updated with new facilities and improved accessibility. Visitors should check current opening times before planning a visit.
The church organ started as a small four-stop instrument borrowed from Father Willis and later grew into a large triple keyboard instrument. This transformation reflects the growing musical importance of the space.
