Athletes' Village

The Athletes' Village is a residential complex with around 700 homes, including apartments and townhouses featuring clean lines and functional design. The buildings are oriented to maximize natural light, creating a bright and modern living environment throughout the development.

The development was built in 2014 as part of preparations for the Commonwealth Games, initially housing athletes and officials. After the games ended, it was converted into a permanent residential neighborhood for the general public.

The residential space combines private homes with shared green areas where daily life naturally brings residents together. These common grounds shape how people interact and create a sense of belonging within the neighborhood.

The area is easy to reach and offers direct connections to the Emirates Arena along with several bus stops and train stations nearby. Visitors and residents can navigate the grounds easily, as the layout is clear and there are multiple entry points.

The construction required cleaning up massive amounts of contaminated soil left from the site's former industrial use. Through innovative methods, waste was minimized and the land was made suitable for residential development.
