Addison's Walk, Footpath in Magdalen College grounds, Oxford, England.

The path forms a circular route spanning 1.5 kilometers around a small island in the River Cherwell with views of Magdalen Tower.

Originally named Water Walk, the path received its current name from Joseph Addison, a Magdalen College Fellow from 1698 to 1711.

C.S. Lewis walked this path with J.R.R. Tolkien and Hugo Dyson, leading to intellectual discussions that influenced their literary works.

Access requires an entrance fee to Magdalen College grounds, except on specific days like Boxing Day when admission becomes free.

A commemorative plaque displays a poem written by C.S. Lewis about this path, marking its connection to literary history.
