Bickington Steam Railway, Miniature railway in Newton Abbot, United Kingdom.
The Bickington Steam Railway extends across 2.5 miles of track through Trago Mills Leisure Park with three main stations serving different sections.
The railway began operations in 1988, utilizing equipment recovered from Suffolk Wildlife Park that originated from the tracks at Rudyard Lake.
Five locomotives power the railway, including BSR 2-6-0 Alice and SR&RL 2-6-2 No.24, maintaining British railway engineering traditions.
Passengers can board trains at three stations: Trago Central in the Fun Park, Riverside Station near the car park, and Goose Glen Halt.
The railway track features some of the steepest gradients found on any miniature railway system in the United Kingdom.
