YHA Penzance

YHA Penzance is a Georgian mansion featuring tall sash windows and classical architectural details from the 1700s. Wings extending to the east and north sides create additional spaces for guests within the listed structure.

The property was originally known as Castle Horneck, with foundations dating from the early 1100s. Around 1720, Dr. Walter Borlase directed a major renovation that transformed it into the Georgian structure seen today.
