The Church of All Saints features a three-stage west tower, four-bay nave, two-bay chancel, transepts, vestry, and south porch with sandstone ashlar construction.
The original church on this site predates the Norman conquest, with records in the Domesday Book of 1086 and substantial rebuilding between 1866 and 1869.
The north chapel honors Aelred, third abbot of Rievaulx Abbey, while the south chapel celebrates Columba with wall paintings depicting contemporary events.
The church maintains regular Sunday services, including Holy Communion at 8:00 AM and Parish Eucharist at 9:30 AM, with daily opening hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Harrison & Harrison pipe organ installed in 1931 replaced an earlier instrument from 1868, enhancing the musical capabilities of this Grade II* listed building.
