Duncombe Park, Historic house museum in Helmsley, England

The mansion stands on elevated ground with 300 acres of parkland, overlooking the winding River Rye in North York Moors National Park.

Yorkshire architect William Wakefield designed this Grade I listed building in 1713 for Thomas Duncombe, following a complete reconstruction in 1895 by William Young.

The estate displays an extensive art collection gathered by Charles Duncombe, first Baron Feversham, who received his title in 1826.

The gardens welcome visitors from April through August, Monday to Friday, from 10:30 AM to 5 PM, with separate admission fees for the parkland.

The National Centre for Birds of Prey maintains facilities within the estate grounds since 2013, offering specialized exhibitions and demonstrations.
