Cradley Heath Baptist Church, Protestant church in Cradley Heath, England
The church building on Corngreaves Road features architectural elements characteristic of religious structures from its construction period in the nineteenth century.
Established in December 1833, this church was the first religious institution of any denomination to construct a chapel in Cradley Heath.
The congregation appointed Reverend George Cosens in 1837, marking a milestone as Britain's first recorded Black West Indian pastor in the region.
The church holds Sunday services at 11 AM, conducts Wednesday Bible studies from noon to 1 PM, and runs toddler groups on Friday mornings.
The building received Grade II listing status and underwent restoration work with a £106,000 grant from English Heritage to repair water damage.
