Concourse House, Former office tower at Lime Street, Liverpool, England
The tower block stood near Lime Street Railway Station, featuring a modernist design with straight lines and concrete construction spanning multiple floors.
Richard Seifert designed this building in the 1960s as part of the urban development projects that transformed Liverpool's post-war landscape.
The building served as a canvas for the mechanical spider art installation La Princesse before its demolition in 2009.
The structure operated as British Rail offices until the implementation of the Lime Street Gateway development scheme changed the area.
The demolition of Concourse House cleared space for new developments while permanently altering the entrance view to Lime Street Station.
