The three-structure complex includes a 16th-century farmhouse with medieval core, an adjacent barn, and a later constructed cowshed built from local sandstone materials.
The Le Boteler family received the Manor of Pembrey in 1128, followed by the Vaughan family who inherited the property around 1530 as a wedding gift.
The building's white lime-washed exterior served as a navigation point for sailors traversing the dangerous waters of Carmarthen Bay near the Welsh coast.
The Friends of Court Farm organization conducts guided tours of the property, providing information about the previous inhabitants and architectural features.
The barn structure exhibits defensive characteristics, suggesting military purposes during medieval times, while maintaining rights to shipwrecks along Cefn Sidan sands.
