Dundonald House, Government building in Stormont Estate, Northern Ireland
Dundonald House is a government building on Stormont Estate composed of two joined sections: a twelve-story rectangular tower and a seven-story curved wing, connected by a central entrance cube. The structure features International Style design with Portland limestone cladding throughout its exterior surfaces.
The building was designed by Robert Hanna Gibson in 1962 and served as headquarters for the Department of Agriculture and Northern Ireland Prison Service. In 2021, it received grade B+ listing status, recognizing its architectural significance in modern government design.

The building has been closed since 2023 due to safety concerns after masonry fell from the roof, with an exclusion zone now in place. Visitors should be aware that access is currently restricted and the surrounding perimeter should be avoided.
The Northern Ireland Civil Service Sports Association plans to convert the site into modern sports facilities featuring indoor halls and multi-sport outdoor areas. This redevelopment project represents a significant shift from its previous government use to a community recreation hub.
