Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island is an amusement park in Ingoldmells, East Lindsey, England, featuring more than twenty rides spread across a sprawling site near the shore. The complex combines outdoor zones with enclosed halls housing three large roller coasters and numerous carousels.

The park opened in 1995 and introduced the Millennium roller coaster four years later as one of the first major draws. The site has since expanded several times to add new rides and covered halls.

The covered market hall inside the grounds hosts seven hundred stalls selling local crafts, sweets and seaside souvenirs. Families gather here not only for the rides but also to browse and eat throughout every day of the week.

Visitors choose between individual ride tickets or full-day wristbands for unlimited access. The site operates throughout the year, with covered areas for rainy weather and free entry to the market zone.

The Odyssey roller coaster reaches speeds of 42 miles per hour (68 kilometers per hour) and takes riders through sharp turns and steep drops. The park remains open through winter thanks to the enclosed sections where several rides operate all year.
